Microdermabrasion rejuvenates and revitalizes your skin in just an afternoon!  The tip of the wand is made of natural diamond chips, which polish skin and remove dead cells, allowing smoother, fresher skin to be uncovered. Customizable a vacuum-like process helps to stimulate microcirculation and lymphatic flow, increasing the blood supply that provides essential nutrients needed for skin regeneration.  This helps accelerate the skin repair process and stimulates the formation of new collagen and elastin, thereby improving skin texture and elasticity.  As with other skin rejuvenation techniques, more than one treatment may be needed to reduce or remove fine wrinkles and unwanted pigmentation.  A series of 6 treatments is recommended to get the best results.

Microdermabrasion can be successfully used on light or dark skin to treat the face, neck, chest, back, arms, elbows, knees and hands. Microdermabrasion is generally intended for:

  • Fine Lines and Wrinkles
  • Age Spots, Sun Damage and Hyper-Pigmentation
  • Acne Scars, Chickenpox Scars and Scratch Marks
  • Congested Skin, Enlarged Pores and Blemishes
  • Dull Skin

IPL Hair Removal
The principle of an IPL is that the light is transmitted through skin tissue and is absorbed by melanin, which is found at the root of the hair.  When the light is absorbed, heat is produced which radiates out into the follicle wall destroying the cells so hair re-growth is impeded.  IPL works equaly well on most skin pigmentations without removing  any of the pigment.  IPL hair removal can also safely and effectively eliminate hair of all colors: black, brown, red, blond and even white.  Only a few treatments, at monthly intervals are needed to obtain stunning results.  It is very quick, relatively painless and very little redness or skin reaction to worry about.

IPL Photo Facial Rejuvenation – Face, Neck and Chest Treatments
While reclining on a treatment table, with protective eye gear in place, you will be carefully coached as the following occur:  a cool, clear gel is applied on the area to be treated.  A smooth crystal is gently placed in contact with the gel.  Then, a flash of light lasting a few milliseconds is delivered to the skin.  Once delivered, levels of energy specific to your treatment are absorbed by the targeted damaged area, with a minimal risk to the surrounding tissue.  This process is repeated with an overlapping until the entire face has been treated.  In the cases of irregular pigmentation, this light is absorbed by the pigmented area, which will go even darker over the next few hours.  The area will look a bit dark for about a week.  Then it will slough off leaving clear fresh new skin.  In the cases of facial veins, the energy is absorbed by the blood vessels.  the energy is then transformed into heat which causes a thermocoagulation of the blood vessels.  The clogged vessel is then absorbed by the surrounding tissue.

IPL Acne Treatment
IPL acne phototherapy is a revolutionary treatment that can clear moderate inflammatory acne without any side effect.  It works by directing intense blue light to the treatment area to eliminate the bacteria that causes acne.  The light causes the photodestruction of the bacteria that causes acne without damaging any of the surrounding tissue.  More over, this cure helps improve that appearance of acne scars for the light energy delivered through your skin’s surface stimulates the production of new collagen beneath the scars.  This treatment works well on all skin types (colors) and can treat any area of the body.

IPL Vascular Treatement
IPL vascular treatment is a beam of light is transmitted through a small, smooth, flat glass hand piece which is gently placed on the skin. During the treatment, the energy is absorbed by the blood vessels.  the energy is then transformed into heat which causes a thermocoagulation of the blood vessels.  The clogged vessel is then absorbed by the surrounding tissue.

IPL Pigmentation Treatment
During the IPL Pigmentation treatment, the IPL wave length is absorbed into the melanin (pigment), It has a heating effect on the melanin causing it to shatter.  After the treatment, the pigmented area will go even darker over the next few hours.  The area will look a bit dark for about a week.  Then it will slough off leaving clear fresh new skin.

IPL Skin Tightening Treatments
This novel treatment uses intense pulsed light at specific wave lengths that are strongly absorbed by the collagen-containing and fatty layers of the skin. When this special light is absorbed, it transfers heat to this region, which results in the tightening of the existing collagen fibers and the stimulation of new collagen. This treatment works at the skin’s surface level.  Treating at the surface level is how it differs from the deeper heating of the radio frequency tightening (see Accent Radio Frequency). In addition, a series of treatments, usually six, is required.
This treatment is considered to be a non-down time procedure. Both normal after effects and side effects are rare. This treatment is often done in conjunction with the regular IPL / AFT Photofacials for optimal results.

Intense Pulsed Light Skin Tightening Treatments Pre treatment:
• The skin is cleansed.
• A clear gel is applied to the skin to improve the light’s penetration.
• A photofacial is optional.
• The skin tightening head is pulsed over the skin, resulting in a warm heating sensation

Intense Pulsed Light Skin Tightening Treatments Post treatment:
• The gel is removed.
• Sunscreen is applied.
• Normal activities are resumed.

A chemical peel is a skin-resurfacing procedure in which a chemical solution is applied to skin to peel away the top layers. The skin that grows back after a chemical peel is smoother and younger looking.

Chemical peels are used to treat wrinkles, skin discoloration and scars — typically on the face.  Peels may also remove pre – cancerous skin growths, soften acne facial scars and even control acne.  Peels are most commonly performed on the face and neck, although the chest, back, hands, arms, and legs can also be treated depending on the type of peel that is used.

By varying the amount of chemical applied, you can get different depths of peel while using the same chemical agent.  A superficial peel addresses only the outer layers of skin, and results in a healthy glow that lasts for several weeks. Repeat peels are necessary to maintain results.  A medium peel results in the deeper penetration and regeneration of collagen, the protein that is a major component in the body’s connective tissue.  Medium depth peels can be achieved with a variety of chemicals.

Lillique Offers verities of chemical peels:

  • Vi Peel
  • PCA Peel
  • Jessner’s Peel

RISK AND LIMITATIONS

Significant complications with chemical peels are infrequent, but potential complications include:

  • Scarring
  • Infection
  • Temporary changes in skin or uneven tone. These include: Hyperpigmentation (a darkening of the skin, treatable in most cases with current bleaching techniques)
  • Cold sores breakouts in patients who have a history of recurring blisters and cold sores, like herpes and shingles. (An anti – viral medication before and after the procedure can help to prevent this).
  • Risks for those with a family history of heart disease (Phenol peel only).

CONTRAINDICATIONS

You should not have a chemical peel if you:

  • Continue to have excessive sun exposure
  • Have active Herpes Simplex, Warts, history of Keloidal scarring
  • Underwent any type of recent facial surgical procedures
  • Used Accutane in the last year (which increases your chances of excessive scarring) or on an active high dose B5 supplement
  • Pregnant or Lactating
  • Have any auto immune diseases
  • Have had any recent radioactive or Chemotherapy treatments
  • Have sunburn, windburn or broken skin or have recently waxed or have recently used a depilatory such as Nair® or use Vaniqua®.

Customized Facial
We understand everyone’s skin health is unique which is why we customize every facial treatment in order to achieve the maximum results for our clients.  This amazing treatment is created especially for the unique health of our clients’ skin.  It includes cleansing, toning, refreshing, exfoliating, extracting, massaging, firming, masking and hydrating.

Teen Facial
Adolescent skin generally produces more sebum or oil than more mature skin due to hormone changes. Although the skin is usually well hydrated at this age, excessive oil can contribute to acne.

In addition to a good daily skin care routine, a teen facial can help to unclog blocked pores, reduce oil and diminish the appearance of pores and clear acne. The basic components of a facial include:

  • Light cleansing preparation
  • Facial steamer use that open the pores
  • Deep cleansing
  • Exfoliation to improve skin’s texture
  • Facial masks to draw out impurities
  • Toning the skin
  • Moisturizing to prevent oily renewal

How does Lipo Cavitation works?

A fully trained technician will apply a specially designed hand piece to your skin.  The hand piece will then transmit low level Ultrasonic waves which consist of compression-expansion impulses that travel in high-speed cycles.  This back and forth cycle then causes an infinite quantity of micro-cavities or micro-bubbles that gradually enlarge.  This progressive enlargement finishes as micro-bubbles start to collide and implode, producing shock waves that favor emulsification and elimination of fat tissues (this phenomena is called “Cavitation”). The liquid is then easily vacuumed out from the body using the lymphatic and urinary system.
